This Chinese vase with hand-painted peaches, in the style of the Qing dynasty, is a unique piece of Chinese porcelain from the Kuzco Art Maison collection. It takes the form of a bottle vase with a globular body and a tall, slender neck. The peaches are the focal point, each one painted with its own shading. In the Chinese tradition the peach is a symbol of long life.

A soft, greenish celadon glaze gives a calm background for the warmer tones of the design, painted in the famille-rose manner. The interplay of colours gives the vase a quiet but definite presence, and the finish and detailing are characteristic of Qing-style Chinese porcelain.
