Timeless art for interior

At Kuzco Art Maison, we offer art and interior pieces that delight both the eye and the soul. Our timeless artworks, made from durable materials such as bronze, marble and porcelain, are designed by talented artists or inspired by art history. In addition, we offer high-quality replicas of iconic works by deceased artists, so that their valuable contributions to the art world are not forgotten. These statues ensure that their timeless masterpieces are cherished even today.

With our expertise in curating and art history, we help create spaces that radiate aesthetically and inspire.

Our Story

Driven by the passion to share art

Our passion for art, museums and interior design runs in our family. Art has given us insight; it can connect people and inspire spaces. With our academic background in Art, Market and Connoisseurship and Museum Studies, we are motivated to bridge the gap between art in museums and interior design. We believe that the spaces we live in can inspire us just as much as an exhibition.

Our broad experience in curating, art history and interior design allows us to not only make spaces stand out aesthetically, but also to create narratives that inspire. Art is the bridge between the visible and the invisible, the tangible and the felt – it brings the soul of a space to life.

Behind the brand

Symbolism of Kuzco

Kuzco Art Maison takes its name from Kuzco, an Egyptian cat. This choice is not arbitrary, but imbued with symbolism and meaning. In ancient Egyptian culture, cats were revered and associated with powerful female figures such as Cleopatra, who was known for her intelligence, beauty and strategic insight.

In Egyptian culture, cats were revered and protected, often associated with deities such as Bastet, the goddess of home and hearth, who was depicted as a woman with the head of a cat. Cleopatra herself, the powerful and charismatic queen of Egypt, held cats in high regard, reinforcing their status as symbols of feminine power and grace.

In European folklore, cats were seen as companions of witches, women who were often persecuted in their time for their independence and knowledge. This association has turned the cat into a symbol of the unjust struggles that women have endured. This historical connection between cats and women inspired us to create a business that uses the cat as a symbol.
