Refund policy

Returns and Refunds Policy

This Returns and Refunds Policy applies to all purchases of products ("Products") from Kuzco Art Maison ("Kuzco") by business customers ("Customer"). By making a purchase from Kuzco, the Customer agrees to this policy.

1. Returning Products

1.1 Notification Obligation

If, in the reasonable opinion of the Customer, the delivered Products are not in accordance with the ordered Products, are deficient in quantity, or are defective without fault of the Customer, the Customer must notify Kuzco in writing via email at info@kuzcoartmaison.com without delay, but no later than fourteen (14) calendar days after the delivery date. Notifications received after this period will not be considered.

1.2 Complaint Specification

Any complaint submitted by the Customer must be as detailed as possible, accompanied by digital photographic evidence illustrating the alleged defect or shortcoming.

1.3 Approval for Return

Defective or non-compliant Products may only be returned with prior written approval from Kuzco or upon Kuzco’s explicit request. Returns without such approval will not be accepted.

1.4 Timeframe for Return

If Kuzco authorises the return, the Products must be received by Kuzco within fifteen (15) business days. If the Products are not received within this period, the Customer will be deemed to have withdrawn their complaint, and Kuzco will not be obligated to issue any refund, credit, or replacement.

2. Replacement and Refund

2.1 Evaluation of Complaint

If Kuzco reasonably deems the complaint to be justified, Kuzco will, at its sole discretion:
(i) replace the defective or missing Product, or
(ii) credit the Customer for the purchase price of the affected Product.

2.2 Exclusions

Defects resulting from improper use, negligence, carelessness, abuse, wilful damage, or colour changes due to exposure to water, perfumes, or soap will not be considered grounds for replacement or refund and are not covered by any warranty.

2.3 Costs

In the event of replacement or return of defective Products, the Customer is responsible for all additional costs, including but not limited to assembly, disassembly, reinstallation, adjustment of technical installations, and other related expenses.

3. Warranty

3.1 Warranty Period

Kuzco warrants that, under normal use and in accordance with the provided installation instructions and product specifications, the Products will be free from material or manufacturing defects at the time of delivery to the Customer and for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the delivery date.

3.2 Warranty Claims

If a defect arises within the warranty period that is not the result of misuse, negligence, improper installation or cleaning methods, accident, improper storage, or unauthorised repairs or alterations, the Customer must notify Kuzco immediately in writing via info@kuzcoartmaison.com, but no later than fourteen (14) calendar days after discovery of the defect.

3.3 Warranty Processing

If Kuzco reasonably determines that the defect falls under warranty, Kuzco will, at its sole discretion:
(i) credit the Customer up to a maximum of 30% of the invoiced price of the Product, or
(ii) replace the defective Product.

4. Exclusions and Limitations

4.1 No Right of Withdrawal

As Kuzco supplies exclusively to business customers, the right of withdrawal as provided for under Distance Selling Regulations does not apply.

4.2 Limitation of Liability

Kuzco is not liable for consequential or indirect damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profit, loss of goodwill or reputation, or any other form of economic loss.

Final Provision

This Returns and Refunds Policy forms an integral part of the Terms and Conditions of Kuzco Art Maison. In the event of any inconsistency between this policy and the Terms and Conditions, the provisions of the Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

This Returns and Refunds Policy has been drafted in Dutch. While it may be translated into other languages for convenience or other purposes, in the event of any interpretation or explanation—whether due to a disagreement between the parties or otherwise—the Dutch version shall prevail over any translated version.
