Gold Bronze Polar Bear Sculpture after Pompon

This bronze polar bear is a real statement piece. The design is inspired by François Pompon (1855-1933), the French sculptor whose Ours blanc of 1922 made his name for its pared-back, flowing lines. This version gives that classic form a modern turn through the openwork of round holes cut through the body.
