Globe Pendant Lantern – Bronze Frame, Glass Sphere

This globe pendant light encloses a sphere of clear, curved glass in a bronze frame, in a classic Victorian style. The panes carry a faint green-grey tint and spread the light widely and evenly through the room.

Slim vertical ribs divide the sphere, and small round bosses along their edges hold each pane in place. Around the middle runs a broad pierced band of interlaced rings. At the top, a collar of serrated leaves rises to a domed cap, a turned finial and the ring for hanging; below, the sphere ends in a small turned knob. The dark patina is picked out with golden highlights where the bronze stands proud.

The lamp is supplied with a hanging chain, so its height can be set to suit the room, and takes an E27 fitting.

Hung low over a small table for two, the 41 cm sphere lights the tabletop and leaves the rest of the room in a softer glow; in a reading corner it can hang to one side of an armchair. Each new lamp is made by hand, and at 66 cm high it keeps a compact, rounded outline in a classic or a plainly modern setting.

Warranty

All our products carry a 24-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and care.
