This pair of girandoles brings together the warmth of patinated bronze and the sparkle of cut crystal. Each French girandole has six light arms with an antique finish, every arm hung with rows of crystal drops. The result is a clear contrast between the aged metal and the bright, faceted crystal that catches and breaks the light.
The frames are patinated bronze with an aged brass tone, set on a round footed base, and the prism drops are cut glass. The two pieces are matched as a pair for symmetrical placement, and the form follows the classic French girandole that sat on consoles and dining tables.
Use them as a centrepiece on a dining table, mantel or console, where the crystal can do its work. The design sits well in both classical and more contemporary rooms, and a pair reads as a considered, light-catching focal point.
