David Liang (b.1976) is a contemporary sculptor who works marble with exceptional precision. His pieces are carved entirely by hand and reflect both a deep grounding in art history and considerable technical skill. Eternal Harmony holds a delicate balance between inner stillness and continuous motion, a visual reading of the cycle of life and the self.

This edition is hand-carved in white marble, with the soft grey veining of the stone running through a single twisting loop. Each curve carries the eye round without a clear beginning or end, so the form reads as a closed circle of balance and energy. The surface is polished to a smooth, even sheen.

More an object of contemplation than a decorative ornament, it settles easily into contemporary and classical interiors alike. Also available as a black marble edition.
