Aurelia Lantern – Louis XVI Hall Lantern, Bronze

The Aurelia is a patinated bronze hanging lantern in the Louis XVI style. It has a cylindrical body with curved glass that gives a good spread of light, and the bronze frame is dressed with decorative bows and tassels, motifs that recur in Louis XVI decoration.

The bronze work is done by hand, with a subtle patinated finish that gives the lantern an antique look. Slim chain swags hang between the bows around the top, and four candle lights sit inside the glazed body. The cylindrical shape lends itself to a calm, even glow.

It is a good choice for a hall, landing or any room that calls for a classical hanging light. The lantern is supplied with a chain, so it is easy to hang, and it takes an E14 fitting.
