Large Chinese Tulip Vase - George

The monumental George tulip vase, also known as a tulip pyramid, is inspired by antique Dutch and Chinese examples that once adorned 17th- and 18th-century interiors. Entirely handmade from fine Chinese porcelain, it is hand-painted in deep indigo blue with a delicate cobalt-oxide floral décor.

Composed of six separate tiers, the vase exemplifies both sculptural balance and technical mastery. Each section is crafted from a blend of pure kaolin and feldspar (petuntse) and fired at over 1400 °C, producing a dense, vitrified body of remarkable strength and clarity of tone.

Finished with a subtly aged glaze to evoke the character of historical pieces, the George tulip vase unites craftsmanship, proportion, and decorative grandeur. A true statement object that commands attention in both classical and contemporary interiors.
