Chinese Fishbowl Bloempot – Groot

Deze chinees porseleinen handbeschilderde bloempot is uitgevoerd in kobaltblauw met een decor van spelende Fo-honden (Boeddhistische leeuwen). In de Chinese traditie heet deze bloempot een fishbowl en staan deze Fo-honden symbool voor bescherming en harmonie. 

Het porselein is vervaardigd uit een mengsel van kaolien en petuntse en gebakken op 1400°C. Dit zorgt voor een uiterst harde, volledig verglaasde scherf met de heldere klank van kwaliteitsporselein. Aan de zijkanten zijn handgevormde diermaskers in reliëf aangebracht, die fungeren als schijnhandvatten. Door de ambachtelijke antiek-finish heeft de pot een authentieke uitstraling.

Dit model is ideaal als karaktervolle bloempot of cache-pot. Het blauw-wit vormen een prachtig contrast met felgekleurde bloemen; denk bijvoorbeeld aan zonnebloemen of dieproze pioenrozen. Ook met een grote groene kamerplant, zoals een varen of een Ficus, komt deze fishbowl volledig tot zijn recht in het interieur.
