Art Deco Side Table – Darcy

The Darcy Art Deco Side Table features a pronounced U-shaped support that directly references interwar furniture design. The entire piece is finished in walnut burl veneer, recognisable by its irregular grain pattern with small knots and flame-like markings. This veneer is carefully hand-selected and book-matched around the form, allowing the wood grain to flow as one continuous surface.

At the upper section, two half-moon drawers are integrated, fitted with discreet metal knobs. These drawers are suitable for small items such as jewellery, reading glasses or correspondence. The circular tabletop has a subtle raised edge, ensuring that objects — such as a lamp, small clock or bronze sculpture — remain securely in place. The U-shaped structure rests on a circular base, also veneered in walnut burl, giving the table a compact footprint while maintaining a strong presence within the space.

Each Darcy is entirely handcrafted by artisans specialised in traditional veneer work. After bonding and sanding, the wood is finished with a protective lacquer that deepens the warm honey tone of the walnut burl and prepares the surface for everyday use.

The side table can be used as a bedside table, as a small piece of furniture in an entrance hall, or beside an armchair. When combined with other Art Deco furniture and art objects, it contributes to a cohesive interior in which material, form and function are closely aligned.

Warranty

All of our products come with a 24-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and care.
