The Charleston is a French Art Deco side table that carries the elegance of the Roaring Twenties. Its round top is laid in burr walnut veneer, showing the warm tones and organic figure that make the wood so well suited to the period.

The base keeps to clean geometric lines, with curved legs in the same burr walnut and a cross-shaped foot that holds it steady. A dark ebony sphere sits at the centre, where the legs meet, giving a quiet contrast against the honey-toned wood. It is made by hand with attention to the figure and the join lines.

Use the Charleston as a small round coffee table in an Art Deco room, as a lamp table, or as a bedside table. It works well with other period pieces, such as a bronze Art Deco lamp or a geometric mirror, for a room that hangs together.
