That high temperature gives a fully vitrified, non-porous wall, which is why the piece has real weight and a clear ring when tapped. Every part is hand-formed and hand-decorated using traditional methods.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe vase is finished with a lightly aged glaze that echoes the character of an antique original.
